Using WordPress
WordPress Dashboard
Each time you log into your site you’ll be taken to the WordPress Dashboard. This menu allows you to access and manage all the various sections of your site. Additionally, certain sections in the menu are used more frequently than others to update/manage site content, this includes:
- Posts: Manage your Blog and/or News Posts
- Media: Manage your Image and/or Document uploads
- Pages: Manage your Pages and their content
- Comments: Manage Blog/News comments (if applicable)
- Appearance: Access and manage Custom Site Settings, Widgets, and Menus
- Users: Manage SIte User accounts
Select sections may include an orange number indicator used to identify the number of outstanding updates or approvals that need to be managed.
