It’s recommended that you check your website at least once a month for updates. The longer you go without updating the more susceptible your site is to issues or hacks

Delete the Old:
If you have plugins, themes, or users that are no longer active, delete them!

Passwords:
Routinely update your password – and advise your other site users to do so – to prevent security breaches.
